Fire in the sky

Last night I hung out with my nephews, their sister asleep after a long day and their parents feeding us then snoozing when everyone else had left. We chatted about so much, their new crystals, a new found love, we looked at their birthday presents and they read to me – that filled my heart with joy.

Before we all got sleepy we sat on the deck and watched the sky, “You don’t get skies like this in the suburbs,” said the eight year old a number of times.

The sky was on fire and we headed into the paddock to check out the sky.
