In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Choose Your Adventure.”

… a smell caught her nostril, she turned, her eyes closed, wanting to follow the trail of scent … there was something so familiar about that scent … it belonged somewhere, had meant something at some time to her … she screwed up her eyes knowing no matter how hard she tried it would not come back to her, the warm hidden memory belonging to this smell … she dropped her head, her eyes filling with tears that would as always roll down her cheek … a hand reached out …
