Destiny? Fate? Or a bit of both?

People are in my life for a reason.
I am in the lives of people for a reason.
If this be true and I believe in my heart it is … I believe
… then maybe it is fate … but then again maybe not,
I made the decision to take that job where we met, so often true in my life,
we choose things we know will make us happy, that make us shine, new and different things often happen when we shine … I wonder if confidence alerts fate to pop on by and see us …
… I’m going with a bit of both, destiny is my choice and the decisions I make, but perhaps fate is what happens from there?
