The Portrait Gallery

The BP Portrait Prize is on when I come to London, a wander through today lead me to Carl Randall and his Japan portraits, winner of the BP Travel Prize in 2012.

Then a wander through the Tudor Rooms and other places on that same floor, just sitting and looking at various paintings.

Elizabeth I, those of her time, Henry VIII in the chalk cartoon for a lager mural with his father …

Then Michael Dahl, him of the eyes that I found quite captive a number of years ago … not to self read more on history and art!
